Budget Buddies

Explore the difference between wants and needs.  Girls will go shopping in the Iowa Children’s Museum’s City Grocery, and practice making the most of their money.  They will learn to manage money wisely as they complete all the steps to earn the Money Manager badge.  Event fee includes admission to the Iowa Children’s Museum for that day – come early or stay to play after your workshop.  Badges are available to purchase at a Girl Scout retail shop at any leadership center. Register online.

Sundown Mountain Resort Girl Scout Night

Skiing and snowboarding are exciting winter activities that can be quickly learned and enjoyed for a lifetime. This is a great opportunity for your Girl Scout troop to have fun learning a new winter sport while being physically active. Have your Girl Scout leader make the reservation and join us for an evening of fun.

Each girl must have a parent or guardian sign the Parental Permission Form for Girl Scout Activities and all forms must be sent to Korissa Prine, GSEIWI leadership experience manager before the event.

Lessons are offered at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Troops can choose which lesson time they would like to attend.

NOTE: The group lesson is for children 9 years of age or older.  Children under 9 cannot participate in the group lesson.  They must have a parent with them who knows how to ski.  Private lessons may be scheduled for a fee.

Get Moving: Investigate Award Workshop

Get Moving! With the experts at the ATEEC Learning Lab. Girls will spend the night playing games of their choice in the open gym, as well as board games, team building games, and many more. Girls will practice their observation skills, learn codes, look at fingerprints, and follow the clues to a fun learning experience.  Each session includes admission to the Iowa Children’s Museum for that day – come early or stay to play after your workshop.   Juniors will complete all the steps to earn their Detective badge.  Badges are available to purchase at a Girl Scout retail shop in any leadership center. Recycle Rush

Mini Chef: Special Cookie Edition

Ski Trip 2014

You will not want to miss out on the awesome opportunity to ski or snowboard with your Girl Scout friends at Sundown Mountain Resort in Dubuque! During this overnight, you’ll get ski or snowboard under the lights and spend the night in the main lodge at Camp Little Cloud!

Sundown Mountain Resort Girl Scout Night

Skiing and snowboarding are exciting winter activities that can be quickly learned and enjoyed for a lifetime. This is a great opportunity for your Girl Scout troop to have fun learning a new winter sport while being physically active. Have your Girl Scout leader make the reservation and join us for an evening of fun.

Each girl must have a parent or guardian sign the Parental Permission Form for Girl Scout Activities and all forms must be sent to Korissa Prine, GSEIWI leadership experience manager before the event.

Lessons are offered at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Troops can choose which lesson time they would like to attend.

NOTE: The group lesson is for children 9 years of age or older.  Children under 9 cannot participate in the group lesson.  They must have a parent with them who knows how to ski.  Private lessons may be scheduled for a fee.

Every Daisy Flower Friend has a story.  Learn the stories of Clover and Rosie at the Iowa Children’s Museum. Quad Cities Mallards Scout Night

The Quad City Mallards and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois bring to you the Quad City Mallards Scout Night! Make your way to the iWireless Center to watch your home team take on the Brampton Beasts. While there, all Girl Scouts will get a free patch, an in-stand visit from Mo Mallard, a chance to go on-ice and pick up Chuck-A-Puck, hear your troop announced and see your troop on the video board. For every ticket sold the Quad City Mallards will donate money back to Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
