Two Ways to Register
Online Registration for Resident Camp
Follow the online instructions for registering and paying by credit card or debit card.
Paper Registration for Resident Camp
Fully complete the appropriate camp registration and camper information forms found in the camp guide. Separate registration and information forms must be completed for each session your camper wishes to attend. Indicate a second choice session on each registration form, as some sessions fill quickly.
All camp registrations will be processed at the Quad Cities Area Leadership Center. Mail or hand-deliver your registration to:
GSEIWI — Quad Cities Area Leadership Center
940 Golden Valley Drive
Bettendorf, IA 52722
If your camper will attend more than one camp session, a separate deposit must accompany each separate registration form.
Registration Lottery
Due to the high volume of registrations confirmation of camp spots is determined by a lottery system. Registrations (online and paper) postmarked or received on or before March 1 will be processed by lottery system. Registrations received after March 1 will be processed as they are received, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration Confirmation
If registered online, you will receive confirmation on your registration status via email. Placement is not guaranteed. Placement in the session will be confirmed by mail. You will also receive a confirmation packet in the mail mid to late April with very important information about your camper’s resident camp experience including papers which must be brought to camp on opening day.
The Camper Information Form is vital to each camp. We are able to prepare menus and we are better prepared for your daughter’s individual needs to ensure she has an enjoyable stay at camp.
Registering Your Camper with a Friend
If your camper would like to attend Girl Scout camp with one friend, both girls must qualify and register for the same resident camp program(s). Buddy requests will be honored for one friend only. Those who wish to attend as a larger group of friends are encouraged to attend trooptacular or “The Choice is Yours” session for girls in 6-12 grade.
If registering by mail or in person, list each other’s names on the buddy line of the resident camp registration form. Mail or drop off both forms and deposits in the same envelope to the Quad Cities Area Girl Scout Leadership Center. If registering online, list each other’s name on the buddy line and submit your registrations on the same day. We cannot hold places in programs for buddies who have not followed these guidelines.
While every effort will be made to place buddies together, the camp director has the authority to make decisions regarding living arrangements to accommodate program changes and unit sizes.
