Financial Policies for Camp
The balance of your camp fee is due no later than May 15, 2014. If full payment is not received by May 15, your registration will be canceled, deposit kept and spot filled from the waiting list.
GSEIWI reserves the right to cancel any camp program. While every effort is made to provide activities as stated, the program activities listed in this guide are subject to change due to weather, staff and facility availability.
Refunds of the resident camp deposit will be made only if the program is fully cancelled. If a camper cannot attend the program for which she registered, she will be encouraged to first transfer her fees to another available session.
Refunds of the camp fee (less deposit) will be granted if written notification of cancellation is received at least three weeks before the start date of the session. If this deadline is past, refunds will only be granted in the following situations: the camper has a physician-certified illness or there is an emergency in the camper’s immediate family. These circumstances must be verifiable and in writing. Please contact the camp’s registrar for consideration.
Refunds are NOT given if a camper has not followed the policy listed above and the camper simply does not arrive at camp.
Camp staff members are trained to recognize and help campers successfully overcome homesickness. If a camper and her family choose to have a girl return home, refunds will not be issued.
All GSEIWI camps have a “No-Nit” policy. Each camper will be checked for lice upon arrival. If a camper is found to have any nits, she may not return to camp until she is nit-free. If the camper chooses not to return, she will be encouraged to transfer her fees to another available program. No refunds are issued under these circumstances. Please note: A camper found to have nits who chooses to return to the session must clean her belongings and repack before returning, as nits may stow away in bags.
