Winter Pioneer

Explore the wonders of winter in the early 1900’s.  Girls will learn how to heat a house and cook on a wood stove, make their own games, and try their hand at all sorts of old-fashioned chores from hauling wood and water to mending socks, making quilts and (most importantly) using imagination to make their own fun!  Ushers Ferry is a historical village on a 10 acre site in NE Cedar Rapids. Register online.
