Religious Awards
My Promise, My Faith
Earning My Promise, My Faith helps girls explore how Girl Scouting and their faith offer similar ideas about how to act and how Girl Scouting can tie into their faith. Girls can earn this pin once a year, every year they are in Girl Scouts.
Girls are required to complete five steps listed in the handbook portion of each Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.
P.R.A.Y., or Program of Religious Activities with Youth, assembled a list of all available religious recognitions.
Log on to www.PrayPub.org for additional resources listed by faith and to learn more about the “To Serve God” Promotion Patch. The patch is a four segmented puzzle patch participants can earn over a four-year span. You can also contact your religious organization directly to obtain the curriculum booklets.
Religious awards programs are created by the various religious groups to encourage girls to grow stronger in their faith. GSUSA recognizes these programs and allows the recognitions to be worn on the official uniform, but each religious organization develops and administers its own program. Religious awards are optional programs for girls to complete with the help of their families and religious leaders.
