Journey the World Event Information
Check-In
Journey the World will be held on March 9, 2013 from 1-5 p.m. at the River Center in Davenport, IA. Registration will begin at the following times in the south side building of the RiverCenter between 2nd and 3rd Street:
- Daisies: 11:30 a.m.
- Brownies: 11:45 a.m.
- Juniors through Ambassadors: 12:00 p.m.
*mixed troops may come at the time they prefer
Parking
Limited parking is available along the streets.
Parking is available three blocks from the RiverCenter in the Harrison Street Parking Ramp (202 Harrison Street) for a small parking fee.
Free parking is offered at the Modern Woodmen Baseball Stadium (209 S. Gaines Street) located one mile away from the RiverCenter. Girl Scouts will be offering a free shuttle bus from 12-6:00 p.m. that will run back and forth from the stadium to the RiverCenter approximately every 15 minutes

Girl Scouts wishing to make a weekend of the event can choose one of the local hotels at a discounted price:
- Hotel Blackhawk - $109.00 a night
- Radisson Quad Cities Plaza – $99.00 a night
- Clarion Hotel – $79.00 a night
