Hi Volunteers,

The Girl Scout organization is looking for volunteers to help run our largest council event for girls ever called “Journey the World: Thinking About Global Health”.  This event will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 1-5 p.m. at the RiverCenter in Davenport, IA.  Below are the volunteer opportunities we need to fill:

Saturday, March 9

  • Registration (15)
  • Shop (10)
  • Information booths (6)
  • Volunteer Check-in (2 at table 3 running volunteers)
  • Volunteer room food (2)
  • Older girl break-out room and hang out (2-3)
  • Junior room monitor (1-2)
  • Brownie/Daisy room monitor (1)
  • Liaison for girl booths (3)
  • Liaison for community partner booths (3)
  • Traffic Control on World Thinking Day side (5)
  • Parking lot helpers (5)
