Cookie Sale Program
Girl Scouts Lead the Change!
The Girl Scout Cookie sale is teaching girls how to take control of situations and serve as a leader for change. Girls learn the 5 Essential Skills – goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. These are skills girls carry with them for a lifetime of success, and they can use them to create a positive effect on the world.
Gluten Free Cookie Pilot Program
Last year’s gluten free cookie pilot program was a HUGE success – so we are excited to announce that Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois will participate in this pilot program for a second year! The NEW gluten free Girl Scout cookie is called the Trio –it’s a delicious combination of real peanut butter, certified gluten free oats and real semi-sweet chocolate chips. Troops must have at least one year of cookie sale experience in order to be eligible to participate. The deadline to apply is September 26, 2014.
