100th Anniversary Cake Patch

It’s all about the patch!

The 100th Anniversary is no exception.

GSUSA has 100th anniversary patches to purchase for any purpose, and our council created a special patch, too. Our birthday cake patch is just $1 and can be purchased in any council shop or at our online shop.

Here’s how it works. Purchase the 100th anniversary birthday cake patch for your first event or activity. We all know that every cake needs candles, so there are specific colored candles to add to the birthday cake patch for participating in one or more activities throughout the 100th anniversary celebration:

You can purchase a candle for these activities:

  • Rockin’ Red Candle: Girl/troop activities, such as Adventure 100, Wacky 100 or Then and Now
  • Outrageous Orange Candle: Council or national event, such as Journey of the Century, the Savannah Trip or Rock the Mall in Washington, D.C.
  • Groovin’ Green Candle: Service unit event or activity, such as a Promise Circle, Girl’s Chorus, Juliette Gordon Low birthday party.
  • Yummy Yellow Candle: Community service project, for doing one or more of our the service projects listed on our Change the World page.
  • Powerful Purple Candle: 2012 Spring Registration participation (not available for purchase).

Candles are 25 cents a piece. Or, you can buy the cake and candle patches for $1.25.
